Ms. Park brings to Fleming Law extensive experience in complex family law litigation, especially in matters involving high-conflict parenting issues, domestic violence, and/or chemical dependency, in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, and Benton County.

Monica chose to practice family law because truly loves to listen and advocate for individuals to protect what’s most important to them. She is drawn to family law as she enjoys helping her clients navigate a complicated legal system during an emotional time.

Trustworthy, Honest, Dependable & Affordable! This was the first time I have ever needed an attorney! I hired Monica after meeting with her and felt a sense on peace being near her. Monica listened, understood what I wanted and helped me navigate a very scary time in my life. She helped me get back my one-year old daughter (when taken by her father) and remain her primary parent during a long and drawn out process. My daughter and I are grateful and recommend Monica. – Molly A., client

In addition to family law, Monica is passionate about social justice. She regularly volunteers at Open Door Legal Services in Seattle since 2008 assisting clients with back-child support, court fines, criminal warrants, DUI’s, license suspension, housing, creditor/debtor, and public benefits issues. She has been a pro-bono and low-bono attorney in civil and commercial litigation, immigration, estate planning, probate, landlord tenant, personal injury, L & I appeals, creditor/debtor, and bankruptcy matters. Monica has also served as a humanitarian worker and teacher in underserved parts of the Philippines in 1999, Cambodia in 2008 and 2009, and South Korea in 1998, 2001, and 2009.

Monica grew up in Maple Valley, Washington and now lives in Redmond with her husband Jake and their son Ethan. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for her family and friends, biking, and traveling to warm places. She is fluent in Korean.
